MM Design at FIND – Design Fair Asia

In September the MM Design team enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of the Singapore Design Week and attended the second edition of FIND – Design Fair Asia, both as exhibitors and part of the Italia Geniale installation. The fair, located in the stunning location of Marina Bay Sands, is the result of the collaboration between Fiera Milano and Dmg Events and has hosted more than 350 exhibitors and surpassed 15,000 visitors in three days.

MM Design’s booth was in the Italian Design Futures and was designed to explain the studio’s holistic, 360° approach to design and product conception, a real Circular Design that encompasses every aspect of the process from ideation to realization.

Italia Geniale is a collection curated by ADI - Association for Industrial Design with the support of the Italian Embassy in Singapore, the Italian Trade Agency, and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs which showcases iconic masterpieces of Italian industrial design.

In the exhibition, MM Design can boast three products: Masterlite, a ski boot designed for Garmont, based on the study of the leg’s anatomy, designed to perfectly support the most stressed areas of the bone structure; Galaxy Body Armour, a protective motorcycling chest-plate designed for Acerbis Italia, with a stylized nest shape; AP60-2, a portable battery-powered hydraulic cable cutter designed for Intercable, thought to have a perfectly balanced handgrip.
