GIS 2024: Promoting the Business of the Future

On 13 and 14 June 2024, the city of Istanbul hosted the Global Innovation Summit for the first time. This extraordinary event brought together businesses, investors, and research institutions from around the world to tackle future challenges and explore the most exciting prospects in innovation and business.

This year's edition of the Eureka initiative had the slogan "Building Bridges for Global Challenges" and focused primarily on green and digital transformation. At the Haliç Congress Center in Istanbul, over two thousand participants from 47 Eureka member countries gathered to discuss key topics such as data dynamics, green transition, digitalisation, smart cities, and social inclusion, aiming to create new opportunities for a more sustainable future.

The solutions developed through Eureka projects have the potential to benefit not only the member countries but the entire international community, contributing to sustainable development and global well-being. The summit featured various sessions and provided environments for participants to hold meetings, fostering successful partnerships for their project ideas.

During the forum, the Eureka Innovation Awards were also presented to successful projects supported by the initiative.
