MM Design on Board the Amerigo Vespucci
On Saturday, 1st March 2025, the legendary flagship of the Italian Navy, Amerigo Vespucci, will arrive in Trieste, marking the first stop of the Mediterranean Leg of its global voyage.
The Amerigo Vespucci has already embarked on a spectacular journey, which began in 2023 in Los Angeles and has taken it to iconic cities such as Tokyo, Darwin, Singapore, Mumbai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Jeddah, and Durres. Now, as it enters the Mediterranean Leg, this symbol of Italian excellence will visit new destinations, carrying with it the Italia Geniale exhibition – a showcase of the finest Italian design and innovation.
MM Design is proud to participate in the exhibition with IcePanther, the ice resurfacing machine developed in collaboration with Engo. A product that perfectly embodies MM Design’s philosophy by combining innovation, aesthetics, and functionality. IcePanther is a cutting-edge machine for preparing ice rinks, designed to deliver top performance in the sports industry. To mark the arrival of the Amerigo Vespucci in Trieste, the city will also host a special event tied to the historic Barcolana regatta – one of the world’s most prestigious and thrilling sailing competitions, featuring an extraordinary display by the Frecce Tricolori.
