VRNxT
Laboratory centrifuge for rare cell analysis
In analysis laboratories, equipment and instruments are multiplying in response to a growing demand within increasingly reduced spaces, wherein smaller products are required.
In analysis laboratories, equipment and instruments are multiplying in response to a growing demand within increasingly reduced spaces, wherein smaller products are required.
In designing VRNxT, critical success was achieved by its ability to be reduced to minimal dimensions without added vibration during its work cycle. For this reason, the system’s architecture has been completely revised by placing the motor and the brake on the same axis, but on opposite ends, while further allowing the operator to have direct contact with the instrument from the central area.
All technical components, such as an electronic card and interface, are housed in a lower section, which is easily accessible. The arched shape provides a solid support of the central cylinder (where the test tubes are inserted) which, while rotating at high speed, are not subjected to phase displacement and do not cause vibrations to the instrument.
Special attention is given to signaling, so that the operator can easily identify the different phases of the equipment's work, thanks to LEDs that light up according to color codes, thus making the different functions clear and explanatory. The construction of the instrument, which is designed in two distinct phases (pre-assembled and assembled later), simplifies the production cycle.
The body of the centrifuge is made of die-cast aluminum and is painted to give the product the necessary stability during its work phases. The central body is made of transparent Plexiglas, which allows the operator to easily manage various functions and the instrument as a whole.
