XVST

The ski industry is in constant evolution, with growing attention to natural materials, local supply chains, and low-impact manufacturing processes. The XVST ski collection, designed by MM Design for V-Tech Srl, was created to redefine the relationship between technology and nature, delivering high-performance, environmentally responsible equipment without compromising on quality. This project reflects a vision of responsible design, where every choice is guided by the desire to preserve the beauty and balance of the mountains.

Creating a high-performance ski collection with an ecological approach was the central challenge of the XVST project. The MM Design team, known for developing innovative sports products, worked to integrate naturally sourced materials with advanced technologies, minimizing the use of synthetic components.

Sustainability was also pursued through a short supply chain, with carefully selected suppliers located within a 50-kilometer radius of V-Tech Srl’s headquarters in Mussolente (VI), thus reducing emissions and energy waste. This approach led to the creation of a ski collection that blends craftsmanship, technological research, and environmental responsibility.

The XVST skis feature a multi-layer sandwich construction designed to provide lightness, strength, and responsiveness across all snow conditions. At the core of each ski is a blend of poplar and ash wood, selected for its natural elasticity and ability to absorb vibrations. This wooden core is reinforced with layers of Titanal aluminum, enhancing stability and precision through turns, and ensuring a smooth and secure skiing experience.

The graphic design — modern and eye-catching — gives the skis a bold, recognizable visual identity. True to MM Design’s philosophy, it fuses aesthetics and functionality to bring innovation to the world of skiing. XVST stands as a perfect balance of engineering, sustainability, and style, positioning itself among the most advanced ski collections on the market.
