Mito utilizes a high-resolution scan to identify not only the smallest foreign bodies inside the food, but also to verify the quality characteristics of the product in real time.
The design of this innovative product started by taking into consideration some important requisites that make it unique and inimitable. First of all, its particular system architecture includes a rotational X-ray source that performs up to 100 revolutions per minute and must be kept absolutely stable. For this reason the casing of the device is made completely of stainless steel due to its solid and reliable properties in contact with food. The inspection of internal organs is rendered possible by large shutters that open on the front and side. The upper part houses an air conditioning system that provides the ideal temperature for the heavily-engaged mechanical parts and sophisticated electronic components to work under the best conditions.
Another extremely important aspect, and one that acts as a safety device, is the upper area lighting that tells the operator whether the equipment is in operation or resting, so that he can avoid getting too close to the machine when it is running. For further safety, two large tunnels have also been placed at the front and rear of the machine to prevent hazardous scattering from the X-rays.
