The Idea
As a result of certain specifications, the size of the head had to be very compact and the triangular design had to perfectly house the folded tripod legs.
The geometry of the head is the result of its peculiar function, which keeps in mind the needs of the professional photographer who has to manipulate the regulating knobs to adjust the setup of the camera or perform a panoramic shoot without vibrations. The choice of the materials and finishes for the head conforms with Gitzo’s tradition for the components, while new colour schemes were added, giving the head a strikingly modern look. Every detail was designed with extreme care, so as to make the Gitzo head a top class professional product and a symbol of innovation in the world of photography.
