Piovan pays attention to all products, even those destined to the world of industrial molding, by  favoring materials and solutions, which in addition to being functional are also strongly recognizable and expressive of the brand. The Thermoregulator is usually positioned on the press edge and functions  to regulate the thermal cycle of the molding. The challenge was to make it a functional and practical, yet attentive product for users' needs.

Another very important, often forgotten aspect, is the possibility of being able to move a machine like this from one press to another via wheels. However, with the insertion of a handle, transport ergonomics were greatly improved. But this added user experience does not detract from overall design, as the handle disappears inside when not in use. Everything is integrated, as a flap placed below the display allows access to the sockets. The safety knob is in a visible position and is integrated in the front section.

For an optimal realization of the chassis, MM Design has designed two aluminum panels which  protect the thermoregulator laterally from accidental knocks and blows, while also acting as thermal dispersion of the internal components. Frontal sheet metal covers and a polycarbonate display protection ensure robustness and visibility.

 The steel handle ensures an excellent grip and correct handling during transport.
